Assembling the KUBE GATEWAY onto a DIN Rail

As many applications require installation into an electrical cabinet, we have included a set of DIN rail adapters with every KUBE KIT.

  1. Remove the aluminum back cover from the GATEWAY by unscrewing the base using the 2.5mm Allen key.

  2. Carefully detach the base from the main PCB ensuring that you keep the thermal dissipation pad in the same location.

  3. Attach the two DIN rail adapters as shown below by using a Philips head screwdriver on the 4 x supplied self tapping screws.

  4. Re-attach the aluminum base onto the gateway in the same orientation.

  5. Tighten the 4 x M3 screws using the 2.5mm Allen key and you are ready to install onto your DIN rail.

  6. To mount, place the two plastic hooks on top of the rail and slowly push forwards until you feel it snap into place.

  7. Give it a wiggle to ensure that it is tightly secured.

  8. To remove, simply lift the levers on the underside of the adapters either with you fingers or a screwdriver.
